Terms of Use

These Terms apply when you create an account, join a community or play on Your Community Games. Please read them before registering.

Version 1.0. Effective from 14 August 2026.

1. Who we are

Your Community Games is a trading name of Everlasting Luck LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16132653.

Registered office: 10x By Spacemade 10 Brindley Place Birmingham West Midlands England B1 2JB

You can contact us at info@yourcommunitygames.co.uk.

2. Who may use the service

You must be aged 18 or over to create an account, join a community or take part in a Games Night. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or over. Do not create an account for, invite or knowingly allow anyone under 18 to use the service.

We may ask for proportionate information if we reasonably suspect that an account is being used by someone under 18. We may restrict or close the account while we check. We do not normally collect a full date of birth for the pilot.

3. The pilot service

Your Community Games is a controlled pilot. It lets invited adults create a player identity, join private communities and take part in Games Nights containing Games such as Quiz and Puzzle. The service currently includes per-game Leaderboards, Games Night Points, an overall Result for a completed night, scorecards and player History.

The pilot is free to Players. Your Community Games does not currently take entry fees, process payments, provide a wallet or automatically award money, credit or prizes. If a community separately offers something outside the platform, that arrangement is between the community and the Player unless we clearly say otherwise.

Features may change during the pilot. We will use reasonable care in operating the service, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free from faults. Planned testing, maintenance, supplier problems, internet failures and unexpected faults may interrupt play.

4. Your account

  • Give accurate registration information and use an email address you control.
  • Keep your password private and do not share your account or authentication links.
  • Tell us promptly if you think your account or an invitation has been compromised.
  • Choose a player name, username and optional profile photo that comply with these Terms.
  • You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless the activity resulted from our failure to use reasonable care.

5. Communities and roles

Communities are invitation or join-link based and are not currently listed in a public directory. You may belong to more than one community. Membership does not give you a right to remain in a community indefinitely.

The platform roles are Owner, Admin and Player. An Owner has higher authority than an Admin. Owners and Admins may use only the controls made available to their role. These Terms do not give every Admin power to appoint or remove other Admins, transfer ownership or carry out every branding or membership action.

A person running a Games Night may be described as a host, but host is not a separate platform role. We remain responsible for operator-level decisions and may restrict access using platform controls or a documented manual process where reasonably necessary.

6. Playing, Results and fair play

Scoring, timing, Puzzle completion, Moves, Points and Results are determined by the service's server-side systems. A Leaderboard or scorecard is a record of the available game data, not a promise of a prize or financial value.

  • Play honestly and do not use scripts, bots, multiple accounts, exploits, interference or information obtained improperly.
  • Do not attempt to alter timing, scoring, permissions, Results or another Player's experience.
  • Do not probe, bypass or attack access controls, invitations, storage, APIs or other security measures.
  • Report a suspected fault or manipulation promptly and give us enough detail to investigate.

If a fault or suspected manipulation may have affected a Result, we may investigate and decide how the affected Result should be treated using the records and operator controls available to us. We may mark or explain a Result as unreliable, restrict affected access, remove unlawful content or take another proportionate step. We will not change Results arbitrarily. A correction or rerun will be used only if it is technically available and fair in the circumstances.

7. Content you provide

You keep ownership of content you provide, including a profile photo, community branding, a Puzzle image or Quiz text. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload and use it. Do not upload private, confidential or personal material about another person without an appropriate reason and permission.

You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, resize, re-encode, transmit, display, back up and moderate your content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure and improve the pilot, show it to the intended community audience, respond to reports and meet legal obligations.

The licence ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except for limited backup, evidence or legal records kept under our Privacy Notice.

We may resize or re-encode images, use safe file names and remove embedded device or location metadata. Do not rely on the platform to preserve original image files or metadata. Keep your own copy.

8. Content and behaviour that are not allowed

  • Illegal content or activity, including content that facilitates crime.
  • Child sexual abuse material, grooming or any sexual content involving a child.
  • Threats, harassment, stalking, hate, impersonation, fraud or deliberate humiliation.
  • Intimate images shared without permission, extreme pornography or exploitative content.
  • Content encouraging suicide or serious self-harm, or content promoting terrorism, illegal weapons or controlled drugs.
  • Abusive, discriminatory, misleading or sexually explicit player names, profile photos, branding, Puzzle images or Quiz content.
  • Material that infringes copyright, trade marks, privacy, confidentiality or other rights.
  • Malware, hidden code, deceptive links, attempts to obtain passwords or security information, or excessive automated requests.
  • Improper sharing of join links, Owner or Admin invitations, credentials or elevated access.

9. Reports, moderation and complaints

Report illegal or harmful content, an underage account, a security concern or misuse through the Contact / Report page or by emailing info@yourcommunitygames.co.uk. Include the community, Player or Games Night involved, what happened and any screenshot or link you can safely provide.

We do not promise to pre-screen every name or image. We use restricted access, role controls, reports and proportionate manual review. When we become aware of content that may be illegal or breach these Terms, we may review it, restrict access, remove it, preserve limited evidence and report it to the appropriate authority. We aim to act promptly and proportionately.

You may complain if you think we failed to act on illegal content, removed or restricted your content incorrectly, or suspended or closed your access unfairly. Use the same contact route and say that you want a review. We will consider the information available and tell you the outcome.

10. Restricting or ending access

You may ask us to close your account at any time by emailing info@yourcommunitygames.co.uk. We may restrict or close an account or community access where reasonably necessary to protect Players or the service, investigate misuse, enforce these Terms, respond to an underage report or comply with law. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and give you a reasonable opportunity to respond.

Account closure does not always require immediate deletion of every record. Our Privacy Notice explains what may be retained, including limited de-identified Result facts, security records, complaint evidence or information required by law.

11. Our responsibility

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Your statutory rights are not affected.

We are responsible for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for loss caused by your breach, or for events outside our reasonable control where we used reasonable care. The service is provided for personal and community use, and we are not responsible for business loss suffered through use as a business tool.

12. Changes to the service or Terms

We may change the pilot or these Terms for legal, safety, security, technical or product reasons. We will make material changes clear. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will give reasonable notice and ask you to accept the new Terms before continuing where appropriate. Minor clarifications may take effect when published.

13. Law and contact

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you keep any mandatory protections and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable law.
